For coding bootcamps

Every learner's code graded the moment they hand it in.

Hidden tests in the browser with nothing to install, hints that never hand over the answer, similarity checks and exam conditions you set. Notebooks and full lab environments when the course needs them.

Under $3 a learner a month at 50 learners ($149), against $10 a learner on Codio's published bootcamp price. Free for up to 10.

Codio's price from codio.com/pricing, read on 2 November 2026.

A learner's coding hand-in: a summary that 2 of 2 tests passed, one of them hidden, with the tests' marks, a sample test, and the code the learner wrote.

What changes for your cohort

  • Hidden tests, graded on hand-in

Write tests in 12 languages, with some visible and some hidden. Learners write and run code in the browser with nothing to install, and every answer keeps the code and the tests it passed.

  • Hints that never hand over the answer

An explanation of an error, and up to 3 levels of hint on a wrong answer, checked so early hints carry no code. Never in exams, and you see every hint.

  • Similarity checks

Compare every learner’s handed-in answer with the others, and see the pairs that are 60% or more alike. It is something to look into, never a mark.

  • Exam conditions you set

A sitting code, allowed networks, one browser session for each attempt, a log of leaving the test page and a paste limit.

  • Notebooks and labs

Python notebooks that run in the learner’s browser, and full lab environments with a terminal when the course needs them.

  • Cohorts, reports and certificates

Timetables, attendance, a gradebook, a report for each learner and certificates anyone can check.

Questions and answers

Which languages can be graded?

Python 3, Java, C, C++, JavaScript (Node.js), TypeScript, C#, Go, Kotlin, PHP, Ruby, Rust.

What does it cost against Codio?

Codio's published bootcamp price is $10 a learner a month (codio.com/pricing, read on 2 November 2026). Cohort 50 is $149 a month for 50 learners, under $3 each, with every feature. Free for up to 10 learners.

Can learners cheat by asking an AI?

Hints never hand over the answer and are off in exams. You can also set exam conditions, see how an answer was written step by step, and run similarity checks. None of these proves cheating; they show you where to look.

Can we bring our own exercises?

Yes. Write coding questions with your own tests and files in the question bank, or add SCORM packages to lessons. Staff can also ask for an AI draft to edit before it reaches learners.

Where does learners’ code run?

Practice and graded runs go to a separate code runner; notebooks run in the learner’s browser; labs run in isolated containers with no internet.
