Run your cohorts
Cohorts and timetables
Batches with their own instructor, dates and weekly timetable, a meeting link for each class, and the timetable exported to a calendar.
Attendance and hours
Registers by hand or from a Zoom or Teams report, printable session registers, and off-the-job hours against each learner’s plan.

SCORM packages
Upload SCORM 1.2 or 2004 courses you already have, as blocks in your own lessons.
AI first drafts
Ask for a first draft of multiple-choice questions, a coding question with tests, or a lesson’s text, then edit it before anyone sees it.

Questions and answers
What is The Skill Site?
A platform for training providers that teach programming: it runs cohorts, lessons and attendance, grades learners’ code against the instructor’s own tests, and produces per-learner evidence for employer clients.
Who is it for?
Technical training providers whose fees come from employers: IT training companies, apprenticeship providers delivering digital standards, corporate academies and bootcamps that now sell to companies.
Is it an LMS or an autograder?
Both. It is a learning platform for running cohorts with code autograding built in, and it can also add graded coding to an LMS you keep, through LTI 1.3.
Can we try every feature?
Yes. The 30-day free trial has every feature except your own address and white-label, for up to 10 learners, with no card. It starts with a sample course and coding questions.
How does it compare with Codio or CodeGrade?
Codio and CodeGrade grade code; The Skill Site also runs the cohort around it, with timetables, attendance, hours and reports for employers. Our comparison pages set out the prices and the differences, with sources.
